This program of 2 x 3 hours, morning and afternoon, is intended for passionate people and wine beginners who wish to get acquainted with the universe of wine in a more detailed way.

Nevertheless, it supposes some knowledge on wine terminology which will briefly be reminded at the beginning of the seminar.

getting to know each other better while relaxing: smell recognition game

next first quater of an hour: a reminder of some terms
wine berry composition
geographical distribution, climate, wine grape varieties, vineyard works...
terroir: how does it give wine its personality?
vinification techniques: red and white wines, rosé, champagne... and others as for example sweet wines
wine components and their role
wine aroma: sensory analysis and wine language
bordeaux or burgundy, a new class struggle?
some practical recommendations: service, temperature, glasses...

twelve red or white wines in all will be tasted during the course

the course content and its repartition on morning or afternoon may vary according to the speaker's choice
a participation certificate will be handed over at the end of the course
a dossier containing and developing all the course subjects will be available on line in the participants' section after the course >>
